Reed Hogben M.D.

I am real doctor turned “Betting Doctor”. I put my 20 years of handicapping experience in my book “The Betting Doctor” and went public with my bets in 2005. I bring the thorough, analytical, intelligent, systematized approach of the physician to the world of sports betting.

A brief history:

Summer ‘86: Reed graduates from the Family Practice residency program of the University Of Texas Health Science Center At Houston. Finally making some real money, and not on call, he begins betting football. As a part-time seasonal pursuit, it fits a 60-70 hour work week.

Early 90’s: Same work week getting (really) old. Reed adds basketball. A few years later adds baseball and becomes full-time handicapper (I still have a very part-time specialized medical practice).

The moral?:

  • Don’t let your “job” get in the way of doing what you love.
  • Better yet, turn your job into something you love.

July ‘04: Reed decides it might be fun and exciting to share what he knows and go public with his handicapping.

Write sports betting book “The Betting Doctor”.
Spread the word.

Cheers,
